This comes just one month after the Administrative Judiciary Court rejected an appeal seeking to dismiss him from the presidency.
"I am now out of Zamalek and will only be a fan of the club," Mansour said in a statement late on Wednesday.
“Amir Mortada Mansour (Zamalek's football director) had left his post two months prior and declined to make a comeback,” he added.
“The club's election for a new president is scheduled to take place on 31 October and the door is open for anyone interested in running for the presidency,” Mansour said.
In July, the State Council's Supreme Administrative Court dismissed the government's appeal against a previous ruling by the Administrative Judiciary Court, which had removed Mansour from his position as president of the Zamalek SC.
The State Commissioners Authority at the State Council had previously recommended accepting the appeals filed by the State Cases Authority on behalf of the Minister of Youth and Sports and the Youth and Sports Directorate in Giza, in opposition to the verdict that had ousted Mansour.
In April, the State Council's Administrative Judiciary Court issued a ruling instructing the Ministry of Youth and Sports to dismiss Mansour from Zamalek's presidency due to his prior conviction on defamation charges.
Furthermore, Mansour revealed that Zamalek is currently owed EGP 140 million (approximately $4.5 million) by the Egyptian Football Association, in addition to fines imposed by Sporting Lisbon.
Zamalek's recent season concluded without any silverware, as they finished third in the league table and exited the CAF Champions League during the group stage.
