Lasheen becomes the club's fifth new arrival, following the captures of Youssef Osama Nabih and Seif Gaafar from Zamalek, Mostafa Fathi, and Congolese striker Fiston Mayele.

The details of the deal have not been disclosed nor the lenghth of the contract.

The 27-year-old has been one of the most remarkable holding midfielders in the Egyptian Premier League over the past few seasons.

Lasheen started his career at Ismaily before moving to Pyramids FC in 2016 - previously known as Al-Assiouty Sports - then moved to Talae El-Gaish in 2019 and Future FC in 2022.

His return to Pyramids bolsters an already formidable midfield.

Lasheen is the second central midfielder signed by Pyramids FC in this window after Seif Gaafar despite an already packed midfield with the likes of Burkina Faso's Blati Touré, Morocco's Walid El Karti, and veteran skipper Abdallah El Said.

Reports are suggesting that they are still in the market for at least two other players from Future FC Mohamed Reda and Ghanam Mohamed of Future FC.

Pyramids FC are gearing up for a season packed with domestic and continental competitions. They kick off their maiden CAF Champions League campaign in mid-September, followed by the Premier League, Egypt Cup in its old and new formats, and the Egyptian Champions Super Cup in the UAE.

The big-spending club - who finished as league's runners-up for the second season in a row, is still chasing for their first trophy.
