After securing a 3-0 lead over Ethiopia's Saint George in the first leg of the Round of 32 in the African Champions League, Ahly are now expected to breeze through the second leg, scheduled for Friday.

Saint George, who reached the Round of 32 after a 4-3 aggregate victory over KMKM Zanzibar of Tanzania in the previous round last month, are on the verge of elimination from the continental tournament, making way for the reigning champions.

Both legs of the tie are hosted by the Cairo giants, since the Ethiopian team lack a registered home stadium recognized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Ahly will be missing several key players for the upcoming match, including newly signed French striker Anthony Modeste, who is ineligible for this round, veteran midfielder Amr El-Sulaya, and defender Mahmoud Metwally, all due to injuries.
