The 28-year-old has been sidelined since May after undergoing surgery to repair a ruptured ligament in his knee.

In an interview with Zamalek TV channel, El-Wensh mentioned that he will be ready to resume training within the next two to three months, once he completes his rehabilitation program.

He expressed his patience in the recovery process and emphasized the importance of returning to training at the appropriate time.

Zamalek's defense has struggled in the absence of their international defender, especially with the shaky performance of defenders Mohamed Abdel-Ghani, Hossam Abdel-Meguid and Mostafa El-Zenari who failed to fill the void left by his absence.

The White Knights made a disappointing start to the season, with two draws in the domestic league and a surprising 2-0 defeat to Arta Solar of Djibouti in the CAF Confederation Cup Round of 32.

Zamalek will be aiming to overturn their away loss in the second leg, which will be held in Cairo, in order to avoid an early elimination from the competition.
