The 39-year-old coach paid the price for a slow start to the season that saw the club lose their first two games against Modern Future and Masry 2-0 and 1-0 respectively before salvaging a 2-2 draw against Ceramica Cleopatra on Friday.
The club announced the appointment of Egyptian coach Khaled Galal as Romao's successor.
Galal, a former coach of Zamalek, will take charge of the team and begin his mission this week.
Pharco FC currently sit second from the bottom in the league standings with only one point from three matches.
