Having notched their first domestic league win in three games against NBE Club with a 2-1 victory on 7 October, thanks to a late goal from veteran forward Mahmoud "Shikabala" Abdel-Razek, Zamalek seek to continue on their winning ways.
The White Knights have been handed a double boost with the return of duo Youssef "Obama" Ibrahim and Hatem Sukkar from injury.
However, goalkeeper Mohamed Awaad will miss the game due to suspension which will allow to Mohamed Sobhy to be restored between the sticks.
Second-placed Smouha will be aiming to maintain their strong start to the season with a third consecutive win. They have already defeated Arab Contractors 2-1 and Baladeyet El-Mahalla 2-0, having started their league campaign with a 1-1 draw with Gouna FC.
