The Egyptian and African champions will host Simba in the second leg of the quarterfinals at Cairo International Stadium on Tuesday.

"We are eager to win and secure a ticket to the semifinals," said Koller during the pre-game press conference.

Ahly will enjoy a significant boost from a large number of fans, with reports stating that 30,000 fans will be allowed to attend.

"We are delighted by the fans' attendance in the second leg, as the stadium is expected to reach full capacity," added the Swiss coach.

During the first leg, Ahly had the opportunity to secure victory, as they posed a considerable threat on the counter-attack. However, Kahraba and second-half substitute Salah Mohsen lacked precision in the final third.

"We performed well in the first half and missed several scoring chances. In the second half, we retreated and allowed Simba to get back into the game," explained Koller.

"In general, we achieved a positive result," concluded Ahly's coach.

If Ahly advances to the semifinals, they will face the winner of the match between Mamelodi Sundowns and Petro Atletico. Sundowns claimed a 2-0 victory in the first leg.
