Enppi took the lead in the 22nd minute with a goal from Ziad Kamal, but Zamalek forward Ahmed "Zizo" El-Sayed equalized from the penalty spot in the 30th minute. However, Ahmed "Offa" Amin had the last say with a goal in the 68th minute to secure the victory for the hosts.

Zamalek, aiming for their third consecutive win after triumphs over NBE Club and Smouha, fell short of their goal and remain fourth of the table with eight points after five games. On the other hand, Enppi celebrated their second consecutive victory following their win against NBE Club to climb to the sixth place with seven points.

From the start of the game, Zamalek pressed forward in search of an early goal. However, Enppi relied on their solid defense and dangerous counterattacks to thwart their opponents' efforts.

Enppi's Tunisian forward Rafik Kabou had the first dangerous chance, finding himself in a one-on-one situation with Zamalek goalkeeper Mohamed Awaad, who produced a brilliant save.

Despite Zamalek's ball control, Enppi continued to rely on their dangerous counterattacks, resulting in Kamal's goal in the 22nd minute, whose powerful shot was deflected into the back of the net.

Zamalek were awarded a penalty kick seven minutes later due to a dangerous challenge on Zizo who successfully equalized for his team with a shot into the left side of the goal.

In the second half, Zamalek's veteran forward, Mahmoud "Shikabala" Abdel-Razek, came close to scoring the second goal, but Enppi goalkeeper Abdelaziz El Balouti made an impressive save.

Enppi secured the victory when second-half substitute Ali Fawzi played a corner kick that was met by Offa with a glancing header at the far post.

Despite Zamalek's efforts to score the equalizer, Enppi's solid defense prevented any breakthroughs, while Enppi themselves came close to scoring a third goal through their dangerous counterattacks until the final whistle.
