According to Zamalek's doctor, Mohamed Osama, Jaziri's recovery process requires patience, and the player will need from seven to ten days before he can resume training.
“The medical staff is taking a cautious approach to ensure Jaziri fully recovers before allowing him to return to the field,” Dr. Osama shared this information during a television program on Sunday.
As a result of his injury, the 30-year-old striker will be absent from Zamalek's squad for the Confederation Cup group stage match against Abo Selim of Libya on 26 November.
However, all other players, except Jaziri and Mahmoud Alaa, will be available for the game, as confirmed by Zamalek's doctor.
Zamalek secured their place in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage after a 4-3 aggregate victory over Arta Solar of Djibouti in the preliminary round last September.
While the team recently reached the Egypt Cup final, their performance in the Egyptian League has been lackluster, as they currently sit in the 10th place with eight points after playing six games this season.
