Ahly s coach, Marcel Koller.
"Young Africans are a strong and organized team, and they have achieved positive results in their recent games. Therefore, we must put in extra effort to secure a victory in tomorrow's match," Koller stated during the pre-game press conference.
The Cairo giants are leading Group D alongside Algeria's Chabab De Belouizdad, with both teams having three points.
Young Africans and Medeama of Ghana hold the third and fourth positions, respectively.
"I have watched three games of Young Africans and thoroughly studied their tactics. We are fully prepared for the game," Koller added.
As the reigning Champions League title holders, Ahly began their group stage campaign with a convincing 3-0 victory over Medeama, while Young Africans suffered a 3-0 defeat to Chabab De Belouizdad last week.
"We face new challenges every day at Ahly, as we play solely to win. We hold great respect for all our opponents," emphasized the Swiss coach.
"Teams often put in extra effort against the champion, which adds more responsibility to the entire Ahly staff," concluded Koller.
