The Egyptian side commenced their group stage campaign in the secondary continental tournament with a narrow 1-0 home victory over South Africa's SuperSport United last week.
They currently sit in second place in the group standings, trailing title holders USM Alger by goal difference.
USM Alger will also face SuperSport United on Sunday.
Modern Future FC is determined to avoid a repeat of last year's Confederation Cup, where they were eliminated in the group stage.
They will be looking to bounce back from their recent setback in the Egyptian Premier League, having suffered a 2-0 defeat to Zamalek last week.
Next, they will face a tough test against topflight USM Alger in the third round of Group A matches, scheduled to take place at Algeria’s Omar Hamadi stadium on 10 December.
On the other hand, Al Hilal of Libya suffered a 2-0 loss to USM Alger in the opening round of the group stage, placing them at the bottom of Group A with no points.
Both teams will be eager to secure a victory in this game as they seek to strengthen their position in the group and improve their chances of marching on in the tournament.
