The Egyptian giants have included midfielder Amr El-Sulaya and striker Anthony Modeste in their line-up. However, the squad will miss key talents like Ahmed Abdel-Kader, Salah Mohsen, Karim Walid, and Mohamed Dhaoui.
Ahly’s campaign will kick off on 15 December against the winner of the preliminary match between New Zealand’s Auckland City and Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ittihad Club.
