Winger Ahmed 'Zizo' Sayed broke the deadlock three minutes before halftime with a powerful low strike from outside the area that found the back of the net.

The win solidified Zamalek's position at the top of Group B, maintaining a perfect record of nine points.

They now hold a six-point advantage over both Abu Salim and Sagrada Esperanca, while SOAR Coyah sits at the bottom of the group with no points.

Zamalek started the game with high motivation, aiming to capitalize on their home advantage and continue their impressive run in the secondary continental tournament.

Tunisian striker Seif Jaziri missed a clear scoring chance early on, sending a powerful strike from outside the area just four minutes into the match.

Defender Mohamed Abdel Ghani also had an opportunity inside the area but failed to convert with a shot that was saved by Sagrada's goalkeeper.

Zizo's goal just before halftime gave Zamalek a deserved lead as they headed to the dressing room.

In the second half, Zamalek continued their dominance, but Zizo squandered another clear scoring chance from inside the area, hitting the crossbar after receiving a brilliant long pass from Mahmoud 'Shikabala' Abdel-Razek.

Zamalek's interim coach, Moatamed Gamal, made substitutions in an attempt to inject fresh energy into the frontline and secure the victory. However, the impact of Youssef Ibrahim, Amr El-Sisi, and Samson Akinyoola was limited.

With three consecutive victories in the Confederation Cup, including a 1-0 win over Libyan team Abu Salim and a commanding 4-0 triumph against Guinean side SOAR Coyah, Zamalek has proven themselves to be unstoppable.

Zamalek will face Sagrada again in the fourth round of the group stage games on December 20th.
