Egypt has been placed in Group B, alongside Ghana and Cape Verde.
Having secured their place in the AFCON 2023 by topping their group in the qualifiers with 15 points from six games, Egypt aims to add to their impressive trophy collection.
Under the guidance of Portuguese coach Rui Vitoria, Egypt has been performing exceptionally well in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
With a perfect record of six points from two games, they currently lead Group A.
