They now sit two points ahead of Pyramids FC, who have a match in hand.
Enppi currently are third with 16 points from ten games, while the reigning champions Ahly are in 7th place with 14 points from six games.
However, Ahly still has the opportunity to move to the top if they can win two of their four postponed matches.
Striker Shadi Hussein opened the scoring just before halftime, and Mostafa Ziko doubled the lead six minutes after the hour-mark.
Seven minutes later, defender Mohamed Samir extended the lead to 3-0.
Dakhleya's forward, Mohab Yasser, managed to score a consolation goal for his team in the 73rd minute.
ZED FC have displayed a strong performance since the beginning of their campaign in the top flight, winning five games, including a stunning 2-1 victory over Cairo giants Zamalek, and drawing in four matches.
ZED FC and Ahly are the only two unbeaten clubs in the domestic league so far.
