The 25-year-old forward joins the Red Devils from Swedish club IK Sirius, having completed his medical examination after arriving in Egypt on Wednesday.
The reported transfer fee for Abou Ali is €2 million.
"From Free Palestine... to the Pride of the Nation," declared a short video posted on Ahly's official X account.
Abou Ali made a strong impression during his short spell in Sweden, scoring 10 goals in just 16 appearances since his arrival in the summer of 2023.
Prior to his time in Sweden, Abou Ali had a productive stint in Denmark, representing the country at youth levels and netting 25 goals in 52 appearances for Silkeborg IF and Vendsyssel FF.
The signing of Abou Ali addresses Ahly's search for a top-tier striker to bolster their struggling frontline, which has been hampered by lackluster finishing.
Summer signing Anthony Modeste, a former Borussia Dortmund French striker, failed to meet expectations, scoring only three goals in 13 appearances across various competitions.
