Ahly’s winger Walid Soliman and goalkeeper Sherif Ekramy have recovered and will be available for Sunday’s clash with DR Congo’s TP Mazembe in round five of the group stage of the CAF Champions League, the Cairo giants announced on Saturday.

Soliman was doubtful for the anticipated match as he was suffering from influenza, while a finger injury was threatening Ekramy's participation in the game. They both missed the club's first training session in DR Congo on Friday.

"Soliman and Ekramy are available for the match after recovering from their injuries," Ahly's doctor Ehab Ali told the club's official website.

The six-time African champions are currently leading Group B with ten points, three ahead of TP Mazembe, while Ghanaian side Chelsea are third with five points and Zamalek are bottom with no points.

The Red Devils coach Hossam El-Badry has acknowledged that the match will not be an easy win but insisted that his team will play only to win.

"Both Ahly and Mazembe are competing for the group summit, which makes the match more difficult," El-Badry told the club's official website.

"All our players are ready for the game and we will play only to win," he added.

Ahly need only one point from their next two matches to qualify for the semi-finals.
