The Algerian side will be hosting the Cairo giants on Friday in the fourth round of the prestigious tournament group stage.
Paqueta, 65, said that his team enjoyed a perfect training camp that witnessed boosting his players’ morale ahead of the difficult test against the 11-times African champions.
“The Champions League competition is a difficult one and all the games are important and need good preparations,” Paqueta was quoted as saying by the club’s official website on Wednesday.
“I worked on motivating my players ahead of Ahly game as it is an important challenge and we hope to deliver a good game,” the coach added about facing the holders.
The Red Devils, are leading Group D with five points {from one win and two draws}.
Meanwhile, the Algerian side lies fourth with four points {from one win, one draw and a loss.
