The Cairo giants will be hosted by their Ghanaian counterparts in the fifth round of the continental prestigious tournament group stage.
On Friday, the 11-time African champions Ahly were held to a goalless draw by Algeria's Chabab De Belouizdad in the fourth round away at the 5 July Stadium.
The newly signed Palestinian striker Wessam Abou Ali has been included in Ahly’s squad for the first time since joining the team this winter as he was not available for the Belouizdad game due to injury.
Meanwhile, influential forward Mahmoud 'Kahraba' Abdel-Moneim was not among the traveling squad for personal reasons.
Despite the draw with Belouizdad, Ahly maintain their position at the top of Group D with six points, closely followed by Belouizdad and Tanzania’s Young Africans, who are one point behind.
Medeama currently occupy the bottom spot in the group with four points.
