26-year old Ashour has been awarded the Man of the Match award after scoring the opening goal and setting up Afsha for the second.

Ashour's participation in the match itself was a testament to his resilience. "Just three days ago, I was unwell with a high fever, There was doubt about my ability to play. But I want to thank my family for their unwavering support," he revealed.

Ashour's message of respect extended to the defeated Zamalek. "Tough luck to Zamalek," he concluded.
