Buoyed by their recent Egypt Cup victory, where they defeated arch-rivals Zamalek 2-0 in Saudi Arabia last Friday, Ahly's players will enter the game with high spirits.
Currently placed 10th in the league standings with 17 points, Ahly have played only seven matches this season.
On the other hand, NBE Club finds themselves dangerously close to the relegation zone, sitting with 12 points after playing 15 games.
Ahly will, however, continue to face the absence of key players, including first-choice goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shennawi, defender Yasser Ibrahim, Malian midfielder Alio Dieng, and promising Palestinian striker Wessam Abou Ali, all due to injuries.
The league will experience a temporary halt due to the Egypt national team's closed camp as they prepare for a friendly tournament in the UAE from March 22 to 26.
