Currently occupying the 11th position with 17 points from eight matches, the Red Devils find themselves ten points behind leaders Ittihad of Alexandria, who have played seven more games.

Ahly hope to capitalize on their recent success in continental competitions and recover from their shocking 4-3 defeat against NBE Club in their previous domestic league match before their African campaign.

Having secured a spot in the Champions League semifinals earlier this week, Ahly's victory came at a cost, with winger Hussein El-Shahat and Tunisian fullback Ali Maaloul sustaining injuries that will sideline them for the clash against Enppi.

However, the team's coach, Marcell Koller, is set to receive a boost with the return of Palestinian striker Wessam Abou Ali, who has recovered from a muscle injury.

On the other hand, Enppi currently lie second in the table with 27 points from 16 games, on level with leaders Ittihad of Alexandria, who still have one match in hand.

Enppi will be aiming for a victory against the defending champions to take the top spot in the league and continue their impressive adventure in the domestic league this season.
