Egypt U-23 star Ibrahim Adel signs contract extension at Pyramids FC

Pyramids FC forward Ibrahim Adel has signed a contract extension, the club announced on Wednesday.

The club has not disclosed any details about the deal, but it has been reported that the player will remain at the club until 2029, as his previous contract was set to expire in the summer of 2027.

The 23-year-old has impressed with a series of strong performances for Pyramids FC this season, with the club currently leading the table with 50 points from 21 games.

Adel is considered one of the most promising talents in Egyptian football and was named the best player in the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations, which took place in Morocco last year.

He is the skipper of the Egypt U-23 team, which is currently preparing for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.

Adel, who began his international career in 2021, has made six appearances for the Pharaohs so far.
