The White Knights secured a comeback 2-1 victory over Ceramica Cleopatra on Friday in a rescheduled game from the 11th matchday following a 2-0 win over Ittihad of Alexandria before last week's international break.

Friday's win saw Zamalek climb to the 11th place in the league standing with 31 points from 18 games with five games in hand.

Zamalek enter the match determined to avenge his two recent defeats by Masry in their last two league encounters.

The White Knights will face challenges as key players will miss the game.

Defender Ahmed Fatouh and Tunisian striker Seifeddine Jaziri are sidelined with injuries sustained while on international duty.

Second-captain Omar Gaber will also be unavailable for the game due to suspension.

Portuguese coach Jose Gomez will rely on winter-signings midfielder Nasser Maher and playmaker Abdallah El-Said in addition to talented winger Ahmed "Zizo" Sayed to claim the points of the game.

El-Said produced a stellar performance in the win over Ceramica, scoring the equalizer and providing an assist for the winning goal.

On the other side, Masry, second place in the league with 39 points from 24 games, will be eager to bounce back from a recent 5-2 defeat to NBE Club followed by two goalless draws against Enppi and Modern Future FC.

The Port Said side coach Ali Maher is pinning his hopes on wingers Mido Gaber and Ghiles Guenaoui, the strike duo of Mohamed El-Shami and Fakhreddine Ben Youssef, and talented midfielder Moataz Zaddem to return to winning ways.
