The move comes after a period of controversy surrounding the White Knights, who forfeited their match against arch-rivals Ahly on Monday and faced a three-point deduction and fine for their withdrawal.
This decision stemmed from Zamalek's dissatisfaction with refereeing calls during their 2-1 defeat to Masry last week, which they deemed unfair.
Following the loss, the club lodged a complaint with the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) outlining four demands that needed to be addressed before their return, threatening not to resume particiapation in the league.
While not all demands were met, the Egyptian Pro League (EPL) took sufficient steps to address Zamalek's concerns, prompting the club to reverse course and agree to face Ceramica Cleopatra.
"The board of directors, after comprehensively studying and evaluating the situation, has decided to resume participation," the club statement reads.
"This decision is based on the positive actions taken following our firm stance and the pledges we received to cooperate with these steps and ensure the completion of the league championship."
The statement further acknowledged the concerns of the club's supporters, assuring them that the board understands their demands, appreciates their feelings, respects all viewpoints, and is committed to achieving their happiness while protecting the club's rights.
Currently, Zamalek sit in eleventh place in the league table with 34 points from 21 games.
