Currently positioned 9th in the table with 38 points, Zamalek will face a deduction of three points due to their withdrawal from the game against Ahly.
Ismaily, on the other hand, sit in 12th place with 31 points as they strive to secure a spot away from the relegation zone.
Zamalek will be without the services of several key players, including Mahmoud Hamdi, Mohamed Abdel-Shafi, Ahmed Hamdi, Mahmoud Abdel-Razek, Mostafa El-Zenary, and Ahmed Fattouh, all of whom are sidelined due to injuries.
Additionally, Tunisian striker Seif Jaziri and winger Nasser Mansi remain doubtful for the game, despite their return to training following muscle injuries.
The trio of Samson Akinyoola, Yasser Hamad, and Mahmoud Alaa will not be featuring for Zamalek after terminating their contracts with the team.
Furthermore, the White Knights will lose Ahmed Sayed Zizo, Mohamed Shehata, Zeyad Kamal, and Hossam Abdel-Meguid, as they are currently participating in the U-23 national team's closed camp to prepare for the 2024 Olympic Games.
In contrast, Ismaily has announced their full squad for the game against Zamalek, which includes Eric Traore and Abdelrahman Magdi.
