Zamalek failed to win during the past two games as they suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to relegated-threatened Arab Contractors on Monday, following a 1-1 draw with Pyramids FC.

The White Knights will be kenn to back to winning ways and also be seeking revenge for their 2-3 loss to Gouna earlier this season.

However, Zamalek will be without the trio of Ziad Kamal, Mohamed Shehata, and Ahmed Sayed, who are on Olympic duty with Egypt's U-23 team, as well as injured goalkeeper Mohamed Sobhi.

Nevertheless, The White Knights’s Portuguese coach Jose Gomez will continue to use youth players in the absence of key players.

Zamalek are currently in sixth place in the league standings with 46 points from 29 games.

On the Other hand, Gouna will be seeking to end their 12-games winlesss streak as their  last win date on last April when they defeated Ittihad pof Alexandria 2-1. 

Gouna are currently in 13th place with 33 points, six points above the relegation zone.
