After their goalless draw in the first leg at home, the Kenyan side stunned the hosts in Ethiopia claiming a 1-0 away victory in the second leg on Sunday to go through with a 1-0 win on aggregate.

Police will have a mountain to climb in the round of 32 as they will take on defending champions Zamalek who were exempted from playing the first round.

The first leg will be played between 13 -15 September in Kenya, while the second leg will take place in Cairo one week later.

Zamalek won the Confederation Cup twice in 2019 and 2023.
