The Red Devils will host UAE side Al-Ain in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup at Cairo Stadium.
“We respect all our opponents, but the important thing is our performance,” Crespo told the pre-match news conference on Monday.
“We will face a tough opponent who will play at home. It will be a very difficult clash, but we are ready for the game.”
“We have many good players. We have to play our normal style and show the same performance we did in the past.”
The former Argentina striker acknowledged his side’s offensive approach, adding that they have to be more cautious against Ahly.
“We have to be cautious against Ahly, but we must concentrate on ourselves.”
“We will do our best during the game to defend our club and our country,” he concluded.
