Following a whirlwind week of triumphs, Ahly's coach Marcel Koller expressed gratitude for the fans' support while highlighting the challenges of a packed agenda that left little time for preparation.

The Red Devils clinched the African-Asian-Pacific Cup by defeating UAE's Al-Ain just five days after securing the Egyptian Super Cup against arch-rivals Zamalek.

"From the end of the last season to the start of this campaign, we had a mere three-week break before diving into the challenge for new trophies," Koller shared during a television appearance on Tuesday.

In a commanding 3-0 victory over Al-Ain in Cairo, the Cairo giants also claimed the inaugural FIFA Intercontinental Cup, solidifying their hold on the African-Asian-Pacific title.

"Our meticulous preparation paid off, and I commend the players for their good performance," Koller remarked.

"The fans provided unwavering support, the players executed the tactics flawlessly, and each member of the team gave their all, making this victory well-deserved."

Since his arrival at Ahly in September 2022, the 63-year-old Swiss coach has amassed an impressive collection of eleven trophies with the Red Devils, including two Egyptian Premier League titles, two Egypt Cup triumphs, two CAF Champions League victories, four Egyptian Super Cup honors, and the most recent African-Asian-Pacific Cup.

"I now have eleven titles under my belt with Ahly!" Koller proudly declared.

Looking ahead, the Red Devils are set to face the victor of the Conmebol-CF Pachuca match in the Challenger Cup on 14 December, with European champions Real Madrid awaiting the final showdown on 18 December.

"While our aim is to win every match, the path is not always smooth. Nevertheless, we are committed to giving our best efforts to reach the final," Koller concluded confidently.
