Midfielder Amr Al Sulaya opened the scoring for Ahly from the penalty spot in the 67th minute, but Gabonese striker Bekalé Aubame equalized for Ittihad in the 87th minute.

Ahly started strongly, creating several chances from the opening whistle. However, their forwards struggled with accuracy, while Ittihad's defence remained solid and relied on counterattacks.

The Red Devils had an opportunity to take the lead in the 40th minute when Emam Ashour missed a penalty awarded after a VAR review, but his right-footed shot sailed over the bar, leaving the first half goalless.

Ahly intensified their attacks in the second half, but Ittihad goalkeeper El Mahdi Soliman produced several outstanding saves to deny them.

However, Ittihad defender Marwan Dawoud fouled Taher Mohamed inside the box in the 64th minute, leading to another penalty for Ahly.

Al Sulaya converted with ease, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.

Ahly continued their offensive efforts but failed to capitalize on their chances.

Ittihad responded in the 87th minute when Marwan Dawoud delivered a precise cross to Aubame, who struck from close range into the high center of the net.

Despite Ahly's attempts to snatch a late winner, Ittihad's defence held firm.

With this result, Ahly remain top of the league standings on goal difference, level with second-placed Pyramids FC and Ittihad of Alexandria, all on seven points.
