During the transfer window this winter, Getafe reportedly renewed their interest in signing the player. They offered 150,000 euros to sign him on loan until the end of the season with an option to make the deal permanent.
Again, Pyramids FC officials declined the offer, considering it inappropriate, but Adel respected the decision.

The 23-year-old international player sealed the third goal for Pyramids FC, which extended their unbeaten run and tightened their grip on the league summit.
“We secured a well-deserved win over respectable opponent Zamalek. All Pyramids players are united to win the league title this season,” he added.
After impressing with a series of strong performances for Pyramids FC last season, the player, who joined the team in 2018 from Port Said-based club El Mareekh SC, signed a contract extension last May to remain with the club until 2029.
Adel is considered one of the most promising talents in Egyptian football and was named the best player in the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations, which took place in Morocco in 2023.
Adel, who began his international career in 2021, has made 14 appearances for the Pharaohs so far and has scored two goals.
During the current season, he has scored seven goals in 16 appearances with Pyramids in different competitions.
