First-half goals from Abderrahim Deghmoum and John Ebuka handed Masry a 2-0 win in the first leg last week in Suez. This puts the Port Said side in a strong position to reach the semifinals for the first time since 2018.

Tunisian coach Anis Boujelbene has called for discipline and composure from his players.

He warned against the danger of conceding early in front of a home crowd. “Simba are strong on their own ground, and we expect a tough atmosphere,” Boujelbene told his squad during Tuesday’s tactical session. “We must stay compact and avoid unnecessary risks.”

Masry conducted their final training session on Tuesday evening at the match venue following a light workout on Monday at Major General Isamuhiyo Stadium.

Simba topped their group in the earlier rounds of the competition.

They will rely heavily on home support in Dar es Salaam as they seek to overturn the deficit. The Tanzanian club has built a strong continental reputation in recent seasons and is expected to adopt an aggressive approach from the start.

The winner will face either Egypt’s Zamalek or South Africa’s Stellenbosch in the semifinals.
