The Port Said-based side had beaten Kaizer Chiefs by the same score earlier in the group, with no head-to-head advantage separating the teams.
Masry are third in the group with seven points, three behind leaders Kaizer Chiefs and one adrift of fellow Egyptian side Zamalek, who sit second on eight points despite a 1-0 loss to ZESCO United in Zambia.
Masry will conclude their group campaign at home against bottom side ZESCO United on Saturday, while Zamalek host Kaizer Chiefs in Cairo.
A win for Masry would take them to 10 points and secure a place in the quarter-finals, leaving the remaining teams to battle for the second qualifying spot.
Flávio Silva put Kaizer Chiefs ahead from the penalty spot in the 40th minute before Deghmoum equalised in the 58th.
Two minutes later, Aden McCarthy scored the winner for the hosts, who pressed for a third goal to gain a head-to-head advantage but were denied by an organized Masry defense.
