Isamily board members, headed by Mohamed Aboul-Saoud, have officially reserved their decision to resign after "getting full support from Ismailia Governor Gamal Imbaby".
Earlier on Thursday, the Dervishes management has stepped down in protest at what it described as lack of government support.
Ismaily sought to embark on new projects to generate revenues but faced opposition from the governorate, the club said.
"Ismaily board members will remain in their posts after Friday's successful meeting with Ismailia Governor Imbaby," Egypt's state MENA news agency reported late on Friday.
"Imbaby promised the club management that it would get full support for their projects within the legal limitations," the agency added.
Aboul-Saoud was elected as the club's chairman two months ago but he was hindered by constant financial problems.
