Ahly Ivorian striker Oussou Konan will wear the jersey of Saudi outfit Hajer when the winter transfer window reopens after the Reds' football committee agreed the deal.
"Ahly technical staff agreed to sell Konan to Saudi side Hajer as they don't need his services during the current time," Ahly football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
The 23-year-old Ivorian striker has struggled to establish himself since joining Ahly in the summer, with coach Hossam El-Badry preferring to rely on the likes of Emad Meteb, Mohamed Nagy ‘Gedo’ and Dominique Da Silva upfront.
"The club's marketing director will finalize the deal with the Saudi side within the few coming days." Abdel-Hafiz added.
The former Esperance and Maqassa attacker Konan joined Ahly last summer, signing a three-year contract with Ahly.
