Egypt’s Supreme Council of Armed Forces is permitting fans to attend Zamalek’s clash next Sunday against Kenyan side Ulinzi Star in the second leg of preliminary stage of the African Champions League .
The Whites were concerned they could play the game behind closed doors in the Military Academy stadium due to the recent protests and lack of security in Egypt.
Ulinzi’s game will be the first to take place in Egypt since the start of the January 25 Revolution.
The Cairo giants won the first leg in Kenya 4-0 last month and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) agreed to postpone Zamalek’s home match after Egypt’s demonstrations. There were negotiations to hold the game in Libya before the protests erupted there too.
Egyptians clubs have agreed recently to resume the Egyptian league and they are now waiting for a final decision by the of the Supreme Council of Armed Forces.
