Cairo giants Ahly announced on Monday, they signed ENPPI's striker Ahmed Abdel-Zaher after the latter penned a four-year and half contract deal with the club.
"Abdel-Zaher will wear the Shirt of Ahly during the next four years and he will start the team's training on Tuesday," read a statement on the club's official website.
Abdel-Zaher produced a string of strong performances with ENPPI during the past years, helping the Petroleum club to win Egypt Cup on 2011.
He was the joint top scorer of the Egyptian Premier League in the 2010-11 season with 13 goals.
He made few appearances with Egypt’s senior team under former manager Hassan Shehata.
