Ahly have agreed to play Merreikh of Sudan in a friendly in honour of the latter's chairman, Gamal El-Waly, who is to leave the club.
"El-Badry, Ahly's coach, agreed to play a friendly against Merreikh in June," read a statement on the club's official website on Thursday.
"The friendly will be played after we've arranged the team's games in the Egyptian Premier League and the CAF Champions League," the statement added.
El-Badry, 53, resigned from Merreikh after winning the Sudanese Premier League title in 2011.
Early this week, African champions Ahly also accepted an offer to play a friendly against English Premier League side Fulham in the coming period, according to the club's official website.
