Ahly's match with CA Bizertin in the CAF Champions League round of 16 will be held on time, Red Devils football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz announced on Wednesday.

The Tunisian club was supposed to host Ahly on 21 April in the round of 16 first leg, but the match was in limbo as CA Bizertin had reportedly decided to suspend all football activities in protest at their exclusion from the domestic league race.

According to Ahram Sport, Abdel-Hafiz, who is currently in Tunisia, has informed the Cairo giants that the match will be held as scheduled amid tightened security measures.

Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry said his 21-man squad will arrive in Tunisia on Thursday to get sufficient rest and preparations ahead of Sunday's match.
