Zamalek coach Jorvan Vieira says that his players' fighting spirit is a key element in the team's recent success, but he asks the club's management for a quick solution to a delay in salaries.
The Whites maintained their perfect Egyptian Premier League run with an easy but a late 1-0 victory over El-Entag El-Harby on Friday.
The Cairo giants, who had already qualified for the league's final round with four games to spare, are on top of Group A with 36 points, nine clear of second-placed Ismaily with three matches to go.
"Fighting until the last minute to win became the style of Zamalek in recent matches," Vieira said in the press conference after the match.
"Despite suffering a lot of problems, especially attempts to involve the team in current electoral conflicts, we fight to win to make our fans happy.
"Despite not getting their salaries, the players do their best in the matches. The management must solve the problem as I can't ask them to play while they are losing their concentration," the coach added.
Success-starved Zamalek are chasing their first league title since 2004.
