ENPPI came from behind twice to move second in the Egyptian Premier League with a late 3-2 win over Haras El-Hodoud on Tuesday.
Mohamed Abdel-Fattah put El-Hodoud in front in the 40th minute but ENPPI forward Ahmed Omran leveled the score on the stroke of halftime.
Egyptian international striker Ahmed Hassan Mekki restored El-Hodoud's advantage with a 53rd-minute goal but ENPPI's Moemen Soliman restored parity eight minutes past the hour mark.
Striker Ahmed Raouf scored the precious winner with four minutes remaining to put ENPPI within touching distance of a place in the league's final round.
They are now second in Group A with 29 points, three clear of third-placed Smouha with one matcjh remaining.
Group leaders Ahly have already secured their place in the decisive phase, so have Zamalek and Ismaily in Group B.
The top two in Groups A and B qualify for the final round, where a mini-league with only home fixtures will be held to determine the champion.
