Ahly's midfielder Mohamed Abou-Treika trained on Monday after recovering from injury and he will be fit to play against Leopards in the Champions League quarters on Sunday.

The international midfielder sustained an ankle injury during Friday's training which rendered him doubtful for Ahy's upcoming clash against Leopards, but the player appeared in a great form at Monday's training session.

This came as great news for Ahly's coach Mohamed Youssef given the importance of the talented player for the team. However, Ahly will face the Congolese side without the trio Ahmed Fathi, Hossam Ashour and Ahmed Abdel-Zaher, who will miss all Sunday's clash due to automatic suspension.

The seven-time African champions, Ahly, must win in Congo in order to continue their campaign towards the title following humiliating 3-0 defeat against South Africa's Orlando Pirates on 4 August.
