The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has delayed Zamalek's African Champions League game at home to South Africa's Orlando Pirates by 48 hours.
The South African team will host Zamalek on Saturday in their third match of the Champions League group stage, while the Whites were supposed to host Orlando Pirates on 30 August in Cairo.
"CAF informed us that the fourth round match date was officially moved to 1 September," Zamalek revealed on their official website on Tuesday.
"The date change is only related to CAF and not to Egypt's current instability," the Cairo giants added.
Under the guidance of Coach Helmi Tulan, success-starved Zamalek are chasing their first continental title since 2002.
Orlando Pirates top Group A with four points, ahead of second-placed AC Leopards from Congo on goal difference.
Cairo rivals Ahly and Zamalek have one point each after playing out a 1-1 draw in their opening group-stage game.
