Wadi Degla's players celebrate their win
A number of penalty kicks helped Wadi Degla and Talae El-Gueich reach Egypt Cup's semis at the expense of ENPPI and Aluminum on Thursday.
Wadi Degla made the cut after ending normal time with a 2-2 draw.
Degla's keeper Haytham Mohamed shined by saving two kicks to give his side a precious 5-4 win over ENPPI, who won the title in 2005 and 2011.
In the same round, Talae El-Gueich earned a difficult win against Egypt's second division side Aluminium, who fought hard during normal time to end with a 2-2 draw.
The military team clinched their qualification after their keeper saved two kicks, giving his side a 4-3 win.
