Ahly will play three friendly matches amid their preparations for the FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco.

"We will play the first friendly match against Al-Mostakbal on 23 November," Ahly football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz told the club's official website on Tuesday.

"The other two matches will be played on 27 and 30 November but the opponents are yet to be identified," he added.

The Cairo giants will represent Africa in the tournament after winning the CAF Champions League title.

They will fly to Morocco on 29 November.

The Red Devils will open their fifth Club World Cup campaign by playing Asian champions Guangzhou Evergrande of China on 14 December.

The Egyptians will be bidding for a spot in the semifinal to play against European champions Bayern Munich.

The tournament will take place in Morocco for the first time, following previous editions in Brazil, Japan and the UAE.
