Zamalek's new coach Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam said on Sunday his side needs more time to improve, adding that he doesn't possess a magic wand to realise great success with the team after only 10 days from his appointment.

Mido was recently named Zamalek's new coach after Helmi Toulan was dismissed due to poor results.

Despite a winning start against Minya last Wednesday, Zamalek were held to a 2-2 draw by visitors Petrojet.

"I have no magic wand [...] to win all matches 10 days after my appointment," Mido said in the post match news conference on Sunday.

"When I took the responsibility of the team, I told the club board I would do my best to compete, not win all the games," he added.

Zamalek are third in Group B with 10 points, four behind leaders Petrojet who played an additional game.
