Ahly manager Mohamed Youssef and football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz have been fined a total of LE35,000 by the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) competition committee, the football governing body said on its official site Monday.

Youssef was hit with LE25,000 in fines for failing to show up at the Ghazl El-Mahalla 1-0 win post-match press conference (LE15,000) and for lashing out at the game's referee (LE10,000).

Football director Abdel-Hafiz was sanctioned with another LE10,000 fine for criticising the referee as well.

Ahly have been boycotting post-match press conferences due to a dispute with the EFA over sponsorship rights.
