Egypt and Ismaily midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou will miss his team's trip to DR Congo to face FC MK team in the CAF Confederation Cup due to injury.

The Dervishes will head to Congo on Thursday to play FC MK in the first leg of the tournament's round of 32 on 2 March.

"Abd-Rabou will not be available for Congo trip as he suffers from a hamstring strain that will keep him on the sidelines for 10 days," Ismaily said in a statement in their official website.

Abd-Rabou was also not included in the Egypt's squad for a friendly game against Bosnia on 5 March in Austria.

Ismaily are second in Group B of the Egyptian Premier League with 19 points, one behind leaders Petrojet.
