The Ahly management has announced it will invite FIFA president Sepp Blatter, president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Issa Hayatou and AC Milan vice-president and CEO Adriano Galliani to join in the Cairo giants’ celebration of their recently acquired “world's most successful club” title.

After CAF issued an official statement confirming the Egyptian giants had overtaken Italian side AC Milan as the club with the most internationally-recognised titles, Ahly designated the month of February for festivities celebrating the accomplishment.

Ahly were given their 19th international trophy last week – their sixth African Super Cup title – sending a blow to AC Milan's officials who regularly claimed the Italian club's 18 international trophies made it the most successful club worldwide.

The Cairo giants have won eight Champions League titles, four African Winners Cups, six African Super Cups and one Afro-Asian Cup.
